134 Mr. Lenihan asked the Minister for Education the recommendations, if any, she has received from the Higher Education Authority regarding the establishment of a regional technical college in Dublin west; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [9028/96]
The report of the Steering Committee on the Future Development of Higher Education is being examined at present together with the advice of the Higher Education Authority which has not been made public.
No decision has yet been taken in relation to the siting of a regional technical college in Dublin west. When the report and advice of the Higher Education Authority have been examined fully I will take the necessary decisions in consultation with my colleagues in Government.
