Liam Aylward

Question:

81 Mr. Aylward asked the Minister for Health if he will have arrangements made for immediate talks between his Department officials and IMPACT who represent speech and language therapists in view of the fact that pay negations under the Programme for Competitiveness and Work have broken down; if he will address the concerns of these people who are seeking pay comparable with other graduate health care professionals; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [9233/96]

Limerick East): The pay claim submitted by IMPACT on behalf of speech and language therapists is still being processed under Clause 2 (iii) A - Annex 1 of the Programme for Competitiveness and Work.
