93 Mr. Ellis asked the Minister for Arts, Culture and the Gaeltacht when payment in respect of all lands acquired as part of the Shannon/Erne Waterway project will be made; and the number of claims that are outstanding. [9119/96]

Approximately 350 claims have been received to date for compensation for land acquired in connection with the development of the Shannon-Erne Waterway. The number of definitive claims remaining to be settled stand at 29. In addition, a small number of unquantified notices of intention to claim have been received.
