104 Mr. Dempsey asked the Minister for the Environment when he will approve funding for the refurbishment of Arklow swimming pool, County Wicklow in view of a recent independent feasibility study on indoor swimming pools which was approved by Wicklow County Council. [9034/96]

The County Wicklow swimming pools feasibility study was recently submitted to my Department by Wicklow County Council and is being examined. The allocation of funding for any particular pool does not arise at this stage.
