21 Mr. M. McDowell asked the Minister for Enterprise and Employment the plans, if any, being put in place for the publication of periodic reports on the results achieved in schemes established to tackle long-term unemployment. [9953/96]
The outcome of schemes and programmes established to tackle long-term unemployment are monitored on an ongoing basis. Much of this information is already in the public domain, through for example, the publication of evaluation reports by the ESF evaluation unit of my Department, ESRI publications, FÁS reports, and through responses to parliamentary questions, etc.
The Deputy can be assured that I am in favour of maximum openness in this regard.
