Vol. 465 No. 7

Written Answers. - Employees with Disabilities.

Mary Wallace

Question:

55 Miss M. Wallace asked the Minister for Health the efforts, if any, which have been made to assess the number of people with disabilities employed by voluntary organisations which deal with his Department. [10576/96]

Limerick East): Neither my Department nor the health boards are involved in the recruitment, pay or conditions of employees in any voluntary organisation dealing with my Department. This is entirely a matter for the management of the individual organisations. Accordingly my Department has not assessed the number of employees with disabilities employed by these voluntary organisations.
