Question:99 Ms M. Fox asked the Minister for Education if she will make provision in respect of a person (details supplied) in County Wicklow to sit exams required to enter third year at Carlow Regional Technical College. [11194/96]
Written Answers. - Third Year Entrance Exams.
The Third Schedule of the Regional Technical Colleges Act, 1992, states that the director of a college shall "control and direct the activities of the college and shall control and direct the staff of the college in the implementation of such activities and be responsible to the governing body therefor and for the efficient and proper management of the college". The issue raised by the Deputy is a matter for the director of the college and it would not be appropriate for me to intervene.
