Vol. 466 No. 4

Written Answers. - Registration of Title.

Séamus Hughes

Question:

210 Mr. Hughes asked the Minister for Justice the reason a dealing number (details supplied) has not been furnished by the Land Registry in spite of two requests from the solicitors who lodged an application; and if she will have arrangements made for registration to be completed as a matter of urgency in view of the fact that substantial development is being held up pending the transfer of this site by the applicants to a third party. [11361/96]

I am informed by the Registrar of Titles that there is no record of an application lodged by the applicants referred to by the Deputy on the date in question. The information furnished is insufficient to make further inquiries in this matter in the Land Registry. If the Deputy will let me have any Land Registry reference — a folio number if the property is already registered or a copy of the map lodged — I will have further inquiries made in the matter.
