Michael Creed

Question:

268 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry the procedures whereby unsuccessful applicants in their bid for inclusion in disadvantaged areas can be given a detailed explanation outlining the reason they were unsuccessful. [11478/96]

Individuals or groups who wish to know the reasons their area was unsuccessful in being designated as a disadvantaged area can contact the Department, either by telephone (01-6072940) or in writing. The situation will be explained to them or a reply in writing provided if they so wish.
