Vol. 466 No. 4

Written Answers. - Grant Payments.

Theresa Ahearn

Question:

270 Mrs. T. Ahearn asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry the reason a fencing grant was not paid to a person (details supplied) in County Tipperary; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [11529/96]

The farm plan in this case was drawn up in 1991 by Teagasc in consultation with the applicant and included land improvement works and the removal of fences. The plan did not include new fencing and, under EU Regulations, it is not possible to amend it at this stage.
