Vol. 466 No. 4

Written Answers. - REP Scheme.

Frank Crowley

Question:

278 Mr. Crowley asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when a decision will be made in respect of a person (details supplied) in County Cork who has applied for the REP scheme. [11696/96]

The application for the REP scheme in this case was the subject of a detailed assessment and farm visit during which a number of deficiencies were noted in the agri-environmental plan. The applicant's planning agency was notified of this fact on 8 May 1996 and requested to revise the plan accordingly. On receipt of a revised plan, in accordance with the specifications, the application will be processed without delay.
