137 Mr. J. Mitchell asked the Minister for Education if she will postpone for a year the replacing of a teacher from the school on the panel in view of the circumstances of the case of a school (details supplied) in Dublin 1; and if she will agree to the request to meet a deputation from this school. I would like to assure the Deputy that I am very aware of the particular circumstances which exist in the school to which the Deputy refers.
Officials of my Department are currently examining an application from the school's board of management for concessional treatment in the matter of the school's 1996-97 staffing allocation.
The question of meeting a deputation from the school can be deferred pending the outcome of this examination.
