Vol. 466 No. 7

Written Answers. - Prisoner's Drug Treatment.

Tony Gregory

Question:

148 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Justice if she will have arrangements made to allow a person (details supplied) in Dublin 7, who is on temporary release from Mountjoy prison, to remain in the drug treatment centre in Athlone, County Westmeath, without having to sign on weekly at Mountjoy Prison in view of the fact that this would not be feasible. [12352/96]

I am making the necessary arrangements to allow the person referred to by the Deputy to continue to attend at the centre without having to return periodically to Mountjoy Prison as has been the case to date.
