167 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry if a person (details supplied) in County Cork has made an application to the Milk Quota Tribunal for an additional milk quota; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [12278/96]

Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry (Mr. Yates)

An application to the Milk Quota Appeals Tribunal for additional quota from the person named was made and was successful. A further application has been received and will be considered by the tribunal. The person named will be notified of the outcome in due course.
