Vol. 466 No. 7

Written Answers. - Parliamentary Questions.

Hugh Byrne

Question:

171 Mr. H. Byrne asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry the time at which replies to parliamentary questions from his Department were made available to Deputies in Leinster House on 6 June 1996; if his attention has been drawn to the fact that this is a regular problem in relation to his Department supplying the answers of parliamentary questions to Deputies; the action, if any, he proposes to take to ensure that this does not recur; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [12354/96]

I understand that the replies to parliamentary questions on 6 June were not delivered to Leinster House until 5.30 p.m. I will ensure that the Standing Order deadline is strictly adhered to in future.
