Question:

121 Mr. Bradford asked the Minister for Education when a decision will be reached on the proposal to provide a degree course in structural engineering at Cork Regional Technical College in view of her reply to Parliamentary Question No. 95 of 18 April 1996; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [14850/96]

Following discussions with regional technical college, Cork on their programmes and budget, approval was recently granted for the establishment of a Bachelor of Engineering (Structural Engineering) Degree for the 1996-97 academic year.
