Vol. 468 No. 2

Written Answers. - Facilitators in Dublin.

Michael Woods

Question:

158 Dr. Woods asked the Minister for Social Welfare the number of facilitators currently operating at social welfare offices in Dublin's northside in view of the success achieved by his Department's job facilitators; the number of vacancies currently unfilled; the plans, if any, he has to increase the number of staff employed on this important work. [14874/96]

There are three job facilitators assigned to Dublin's northside. One of these posts became vacant recently and this vacancy is in the process of being filled. There are no plans to increase the number of job facilitators serving generally.
