89 Mr. Davern asked the Minister for Arts, Culture and the Gaeltacht the current position regarding the legal formalities of the transfer of Kilcash Castle, County Tipperary to the National Monuments and Historic Properties Service; whether finance is available to undertake conservation works when the legal transfer has been completed; if so, when conservation works will commence; and if he will make a statement on the matter. It is hoped that Kilcash Castle will shortly be transferred to the National Monuments and Historic Properties Service of my Department. On completion of the transfer, conservation works will be undertaken as necessary to preserve it as an historic ruin.
