112 Mr. Lawlor asked the Minister for Education the plans, if any, she has to upgrade the status of the Dublin Institute of Technology in view of the recommendation of an international review body that the institute be allowed award its own degrees which are currently awarded by UCD. [14759/96]
The Higher Education Authority has in recent days forwarded to me a copy of the report of the International Review Team on the Review of Quality Assurance Procedures in the Dublin Institute of Technology, together with its recommendations.
When I have had an opportunity to fully consider the report and the recommendation of the HEA, I will be in a position to indicate what proposals I have in relation to Dublin Institute of Technology.
