113 Ms Shortall asked the Minister for Finance the revenue which would accrue if there was an increase of 1 pence in excise duty on a pint of beer, a 20 packet of cigarettes and a litre of petrol. [15853/96]

I am informed by the Revenue Commissioners that the extra revenue which would accrue in a full year if there was an increase of 1 pence in excise duty on a pint of beer, a packet of 20 cigarettes and a litre of petrol is estimated as follows:
