Vol. 468 No. 4

Written Answers. - Office of Health Gain.

Mary Harney

Question:

221 Miss Harney asked the Minister for Health the role and operations of the office of health and social gain established in each health board; the effectiveness of the offices; the plans, if any, he has for the future expansion of their roles; the extent to which they have concerned themselves with issues of concern to people with disabilities; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [15860/96]

Limerick East): I presume the Deputy is referring to the office of health gain, a partnership which has been set up by the chief executive officers of the eight health boards to facilitate joint working by the boards. I am asking the office to send the Deputy details of its activities.
