Vol. 468 No. 4

Written Answers. - Public Consultations on Bill.

Mary Wallace

Question:

270 Miss M. Wallace asked the Minister for Equality and Law Reform the nature and extent of any public consultations he intends to undertake relating to the provisions of the Employment Equality Bill. [15915/96]

Extensive consultations with a broad range of interested groups were undertaken in the course of preparation of the Bill. Copies of the Bill have been sent directly to all those who gave views during the consultation process. Any further inputs to the process from these groups or from other quarters will receive active consideration during the summer recess.
