287 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Arts, Culture and the Gaeltacht further to his reply to Parliamentary Question No. 165 of 18 June 1996, whether CIÉ has responded to the waterways service in view of the fact that the access referred to remains open and dangerous. [15325/96]

The Deputy's concern regarding access to an area at Spenser Dock has been brought to the attention of Iarnród Éireann by the Waterways Service of my Department. Further action on the question is a matter for Iarnród Éireann and possibly CIÉ
