294 Miss de Valera asked the Minister for Arts, Culture and the Gaeltacht whether he intends to provide financial assistance through his Department for alternative restoration space, extra vehicle storage and other improvements as outlined in the Transport Museums Development Plan drawn up in 1995 in view of the tremendous local commitment of the members of the Transport Museum Society of Ireland (details supplied) in Dublin 13. I refer the Deputy to my reply to Question No. 39 of May 31 1995.

I intend to advertise this autumn for the submission of applications for the final stage of the CDIS for which I expect to be able to allocate grant assistance of the order of £5 million towards successful projects. It will be open to project promoters to submit applications for consideration in response to that advertisement.
