Vol. 468 No. 4

Written Answers. - County Monaghan Sewerage Scheme.

Rory O'Hanlon

Question:

353 Dr. O'Hanlon asked the Minister for the Environment whether he has received a revised plan for the provision of a new sewerage scheme at Tydavnet, County Monaghan; if his attention has been drawn to the urgent need for this scheme; when funding will be provided in this regard; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [15615/96]

James Leonard

Question:

355 Mr. Leonard asked the Minister for the Environment if his Department has examined plans for the Tydavnet, County Monaghan sewerage scheme that was submitted by Monaghan County Council. [15618/96]

I propose to take Questions Nos. 353 and 355 together.

Revised proposals for the Tydavnet sewerage scheme have been received in my Department and are under examination. When this examination has been completed, I will consider the question of funding for the scheme.
