Micheál Martin

Question:

427 Mr. Martin asked the Minister for Education if she will publish in its entirety the report prepared by Drury Communications on her Department's communications system; and if she will make copies of the report available to Members of the Oireachtas. [15111/96]

Drury Communications Limited were contracted by my Department to produce an internal report on all aspects of communications in the Department. The total cost of the report was £22,869. The purpose of the report is to assist the Department in the development of a communications strategy as a vital input into the Strategic Management Initiative and as an input into a management plan being prepared in the Department. A steering committee, representative of various grades across the Department, has been established to formulate an implementation plan on the report's recommendations. When this plan is completed, it will be circulated to all members of the Department's staff and I will be delighted to forward a copy to the Deputy at that stage.
