Micheál Martin

Question:

457 Mr. Martin asked the Minister for Education if her Department will purchase the Ceardscoil, Fermoy, County Cork, from Cork County Vocational Educational Committee for Gaelscoil De hIde, Fermoy, County Cork, as per previous commitments. [15286/96]

Ned O'Keeffe

Question:

463 Mr. E. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Education the current position in relation to the signing over of title of the Old Vocational School, Fermoy, County Cork to the Board of Management of Gaelscoil de hIde, Fermoy, County Cork; and if she will give a definite date for the finalising of the takeover. [15319/96]

I propose to take Question No. 457 and Question No. 463 together.

Details have yet to be finalised regarding the acquisition of the Old vocational school, Fermoy, County Cork for Gaelscoil de hÍde. I am therefore not in a position at present to indicate a definite date for the transfer of the property.
