Question:479 Mr. D. Ahern asked the Minister for Education the current position regarding the proposed extension to De La Salle College, Dundalk, County Louth; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [15431/96]

Architectural planning of the proposed extension at the school in question is progressing. The Stage IV — detail design — has been accepted by my Department. Sanction has been given to the school authorities to proceed to Stage V — bills of quantities. This documentation is now awaited.
