I am informed by the Garda authorities that the information requested is not available in the format sought by the Deputy and could not be compiled without a disproportionate expenditure of Garda time and resources. Such information as can be readily compiled will be supplied to the Deputy as soon as possible. Crime statistics under a number of headings are available in the annual reports of An Garda Síochána which are laid in the Oireachtas Library each year.
