727 Mr. Nealon asked the Minister for Social Welfare the total number of civil servants currently employed in the various sections of his Department located in County Sligo; the total annual wages and salaries payments; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [15189/96]

The number of civil servants currently employed in the various sections of the Department of Social Welfare located in County Sligo is 445. The estimated annual cost of salaries in respect of these staff is £6.3 million.
