Vol. 468 No. 4

Written Answers. - County Waterford Land Registration.

Brendan Kenneally

Question:

850 Mr. Kenneally asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry if he will have arrangements made to expedite the vesting of land in a person (details supplied) in County Waterford in view of the fact that he has been waiting for over five years to have this matter resolved; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [15207/96]

The person in question was allotted lands on the estate of Heelan & Others EEC/UC 6800 County Roscommon in April 1982. The lands were vested in April 1995 and the documents necessary for registration were lodged with the Land Registry Office under Schedule Number 92616. Subsequently, as a result of title problems questions were raised by the Land Registry regarding aspects of the vesting. These questions have now been answered and registration can now proceed.
