927 Mr. Molloy asked the Minister for Transport, Energy and Communications the current position regarding the matters which were the subject matters of Parliamentary Questions Nos. 308, 309 and 310 of 25 June 1996; if he has satisfied himself that all licence holders are currently operating under the terms and conditions that licences were issued under; and if he will make a statement on the matter. As I said in reply to the Deputy's questions on 25 June last, compliance with the terms of their licences by telecommunications service providers will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis by my Department. The basis on which this will be done has now been communicated to all licensees. Traffic monitoring of service providers to ensure compliance in any particular case will commence shortly under the supervision of my Department.
