Vol. 468 No. 4

Written Answers. - Health Insurers' Tax Concessions.

Liam Aylward

Question:

73 Mr. Aylward asked the Minister for Finance if foreign companies entering the Irish market will be entitled to tax concessions under the Voluntary Health Insurance scheme; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [15030/96]

It is envisaged that a common tax regime will apply to all health insurers such as the VHI when any new foreign insurers commence operation here.
