Seamus Brennan

Question:

945 Mr. S. Brennan asked the Minister for Transport, Energy and Communications the State companies in which customer charters have been introduced; and the schedule for implementation of these charters in each semi-State company. [15996/96]

The Minister of State, Deputy Doyle, has established a group, including representatives of some of the commercial State companies, this Department and external bodies, to develop a voluntary code of practice for customer service in the commercial semi-State bodies under the aegis of this Department. The group expects to report before the end of the year after which a decision will be taken on their recommendations.
