74 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Finance the cost/yield of each section and subsection of the Finance Act, 1994; and the cost/yield in respect of 1994 and for a full year, such as 1995 and 1996, excluding those sections of the Act which are revenue neutral. [15046/96]

I propose to take Questions Nos. 74, 75, 76, 77 and 78 together.

All major tax changes with significant cost implications are included in the budget. The relevant information on the tax changes announced in the budgets of 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995 and 1996 is contained in thePrincipal Features of the Budget booklet for each of those years, copies of which are in the Library.

To provide the information broken down in the manner requested by the Deputy would require a detailed examination of all the relevant documentation relating to the five years in question. Such an examination could only be carried out at a disproportionate cost in terms of time and resources.
