Grant aid of 75 per cent of the cost will be made available for these projects under the Operational Programme for Environmental Services 1994 to 1999. It is a condition of the aid that the appropriate local authorities contribute 25 per cent towards the works, that the works are undertaken by the relevant local authorities apart from the Murrough, County Wicklow works which will be undertaken directly by my Department, and that the works are completed in 1996.
