Vol. 469 No. 1

Written Answers. - Literacy Services.

Seamus Brennan

Question:

167 Mr. S. Brennan asked the Minister for Health if his attention has been drawn to the case of a 39 year old lady (details supplied) in Dublin 9 who has been physically handicapped since birth and who is living with and totally dependent on her widowed pensioner mother; his views on whether this situation is satisfactory; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [16630/96]

The question of literacy services is a matter for the Department of Education. However, I am having the matter investigated by the Eastern Health Board and I will communicate further with the Deputy on the issue as soon as possible.
