Question:

250 Mrs. O'Rourke asked the Minister for Health if he will request the relevant health board to review the case of a person (details supplied) in County Westmeath who needs orthodontic treatment and who is transferring from her local primary school to secondary school. [16828/96]

Limerick East): The provision of orthodontic treatment to eligible persons in County Westmeath is the statutory responsibility of the Midland Health Board. I have asked the chief executive officer of the board to review the case of the person named by the Deputy and to inform the Deputy of the outcome of this review.
