Vol. 469 No. 1

Written Answers. - Review of Community Welfare Cases.

Mary O'Rourke

Question:

254 Mrs. O'Rourke asked the Minister for Health if he will request the relevant health board to review the case of persons (details supplied) in County Westmeath who are seeking help through the community welfare officer. [16837/96]

Limerick East): The provision of assistance through a community welfare officer in any individual case is a matter for the health board concerned. Accordingly, the question has been referred to the chief executive officer, Midland Health Board, with a request that he examine this query and issue a direct reply to the Deputy as a matter of urgency.
