Private Members' Business. - Criminal Assets Bureau Bill, 1996: Report of Select Committee on Finance and General Affairs.

The Select Committee on Finance and General Affairs has considered the Criminal Assets Bureau Bill, 1996, and has made amendments thereto and has amended the Title to read as follows:

An Act to make provisions for the establishment of a body to be known as the Criminal Assets Bureau and to define its functions and to amend the Finance Act, 1983 and to provide for related matters.

The Bill, as amended, is reported to the Dáil.

In accordance with the order of the House today, Report Stage will be taken now with Report and Final Stages to conclude by 10 p.m.
