Question:336 Mr. Ellis asked the Minister for the Environment when he will give sanction to Leitrim County Council to commence stage IV of the south Leitrim regional scheme to serve Carrigallen. [16443/96]
Written Answers. - Leitrim Regional Water Scheme.
A grant of £75,000 was approved in 1994 under the small schemes programme to provide a reliable supply of potable water to Carrigallen. Due to the high level of commitments under the water and sewerage programme, I cannot indicate when funding will be available for the south Leitrim regional water supply scheme, stage 4, phase II, which includes the Carrigallen area.
