Question:337 Mr. Ellis asked the Minister for the Environment when he will grant permission for work on sewerage schemes in villages (details supplied) in County Leitrim. [16444/96]
Written Answers. - Leitrim Sewerage Schemes.
: These schemes were included in the Lough Ree catchment protection plan for which an application was submitted to the European Commission for Cohesion Fund assistance. However, they were not covered in the Commission's decision of July 1996. I have, however, requested Leitrim County Council to revise the contract documents for the Dromod sewerage scheme which I propose to advance. Given the existing high level of commitments, I cannot indicate when the other schemes are likely to progress.
