375 Mr. Dempsey asked the Minister for the Environment further to his reply to Parliamentary Question No. 383 of 25 July 1996 if a detailed account of all Government expenses in relation to Ireland's representation at the Convention of Climate change in Geneva is available; if not, when it will be supplied; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [16959/96]

Details of Ireland's representation at the Second Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate change in Geneva between 8-19 July were given in my reply to Question No. 383 of 25 July 1996. Costs incurred were as follows: Hotel, subsistence and staff costs — £21,744; Travel — £8,182; Miscellaneous Costs — £289.
