Hold a qualification in Town Planning recognised by the Local Appointments Commissioners
|
Senior Executive (Planning) Up to and including 30 November 1989
|
Hold a qualification in Town Planning recognised by the Local Appointments Commissioners or
|
|
Hold a recognised Degree or equivalent professional qualification in Architecture or Engineering or in which Economics, Geography or Sociology was taken as a major subject or be eligible by examination for corporate membership of the Planning and Development division of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors or hold the Diploma in Environmental Economics (with Town Planning as a subject in the final year)

Senior Executive (Planning) As and from 1 December 1989
|
Hold a qualification in Town Planning recognised by the Local Appointments Commissioners or
|
|
Have service in a permanent capacity in the office of Senior Executive (Planning), Executive Planner or Assistant Planner in a local authority in the State immediately preceding the latest date for receipt of completed application forms for the office and have served in either capacity continuously from the 1st day of December, 1989.
|
Executive Planner: Dublin Corporation, Cork Corporation, Fingal County Council, South Dublin County Council and Dún Laoghaire Rathdown County Council
|
Hold a qualification in Town Planning recognised by the Local Appointments Commissioners or Have service in a permanent capacity in the office of Executive Planner or Assistant Planner in a local authority in the State immediately preceding the latest date for receipt of completed application forms and have served in either capacity continuously from the 1st December, 1984.

Executive Planner (excluding the above)
