Written Answers. - Kilrush (Clare) School Construction.
Provision has been made in the 1996 Capital Programme for the construction of phase 2 at Kilrush community school, County Clare. Following a review of the proposed extension it was decided to demolish in full the existing CBS primary school and provide additional new accommodation instead. This is the most economical option and has been accepted by the school authorities.
Revised stage 2 documentation is currently being prepared by the design team. At this stage of architectural planning, it is not possible to indicate when contract documents will issue for the building works.
