Planning permission and fire certificate have recently been obtained for a building project at Ballinagh national school.
The school's architect has been advised to prepare contract documents for invitation of tenders. When this is complete, a decision on the timing of the tender process will be taken in light of available financial resources. It is not possible for me to state at this point when work will commence.

My Department has approved the sketch plans for the proposed building programme at Arva national school, and has authorised the board of management to seek planning permission for the work. Following receipt of planning permission and fire certificate, the preparation of contract documentation can proceed.
At this stage of the planning process it is not possible for me to state when tenders will be invited or when the building work will commence.
