115 Mr. Martin asked the Minister for Education if she will sanction and provide funding for the relocation of the science laboratory at St. Mary's College, Arklow, County Wicklow, to facilitate a student with special needs. [17192/96]

An application for grant-assistance towards the relocation of a science laboratory at St. Mary's College, Arklow, County Wicklow has been examined by my Department.

In this regard my Department approved the preparation of tender documentation for this project. However, the submission of the tender documentation from the school authority was incomplete. The school authority has been informed accordingly.

A revised submission is currently awaited.

116 Mrs. Geoghegan-Quinn asked the Minister for Education when she will sanction essential works at a school (details supplied) in County Wicklow; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [17201/96]

An application for grant-assistance towards the relocation of a science laboratory at a school (details supplied) in County Wicklow has been examined by my Department.

In this regard my Department approved the preparation of tender documentation for this project.

However, the submission of the tender documentation from the school authority was incomplete.

The school authority has been informed accordingly.

A revised submission is currently awaited.
