120 Mr. Callely asked the Minister for Education the number of persons employed by her on a full-time, part-time and contract basis for the duration of the Irish Presidency of the EU; the total costs involved in this regard; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [17227/96]

The international relations section of my Department is handling the arrangements for the Presidency generally so far as my Department is concerned. Accordingly, there is nobody additionally employed by my Department specifically for the duration of the Irish Presidency of the EU.
