Vol. 469 No. 3

Written Answers. - Tubbercurry (Sligo) School Funding.

Matt Brennan

Question:

123 Mr. M. Brennan asked the Minister for Education when a science room will be provided at Tubbercurry Convent secondary school, County Sligo. [17265/96]

The present position is that the question of rationalisation is being considered in the Department. In view of this and taking the needs of the school into account, my Department is reviewing the application for the provision of additional sciences facilities from Marist secondary school, Tubbercurry, County Sligo with a view to providing facilities as expeditiously and economically as possible.

Officials from my Department's planning and building unit will be in contact with the school authority regarding the matter.
