200 Mr. Callely asked the Minister for Enterprise and Employment the number of persons employed by him on a full-time, part-time and contract basis for the duration of the Irish Presidency of the EU; the total costs involved in this regard; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [17231/96]

The number of persons employed in my Department for the duration of the Irish Presidency of the EU does not differ from the number ordinarily employed in the Department.

In certain cases staff within the Department have been re-assigned to sections where the workload has increased due to Presidency duties.
